Missouri's Norfleet (shoulder) ruled out vs. A&M
No. 22 Missouri will be without star tight end Brett Norfleet (shoulder) when the Tigers host undefeated No. 3 Texas A&M on Saturday in Columbia.
Norfleet, a junior from O'Fallon, Missouri, has started in each of the Tigers' eight games this fall and enters Week 11 leading all SEC tight ends with five touchdown receptions. His 26 catches on the season rank third-most among Missouri pass catchers, trailing only wide receivers Kevin Coleman Jr. and Marquis Johnson.
Tigers coach Eli Drinkwitz told reporters that Norflett sustained a separated shoulder in Missouri's 17-10 loss at Vanderbilt on Oct. 25. Drinkwitz later described Norfleet as "day-to-day" during the Tigers' bye in Week 10, and the veteran tight end was listed as questionable in Missouri's student-athlete availability report Thursday night.
Beau Pribula, Brett Norfleet injury updates for Missouri football vs Texas A&M
As was expected, quarterback Beau Pribula was officially ruled out of Missouri football’s matchup against Texas A&M on Saturday in Columbia, but injured tight end Brett Norfleet appeared on the report with a ‘questionable’ designation, meaning he is still in the running to play.
The offensive starters appeared on the Tigers’ first SEC-mandated availability report of the week, which was published Wednesday night.
MU quarterback Sam Horn and kicker Blake Craig — both of whom were ruled out for the season after Week 1 — were the only other Mizzou players officially ruled out of the game.
Pribula sustained a “non-fractured dislocated ankle” against Vanderbilt on Oct. 25. While the team has not set an official timetable for a return, the typical recovery period for that injury designation makes it unlikely that he will return in the regular season.

Texas A&M vs. Missouri prediction, pick, spread: No. 3 Aggies look to move one step closer to an SEC title
No. 3 Texas A&M will seek to protect its undefeated record and inch closer to an SEC championship on Saturday when it hits the road to face No. 22 Missouri. It is the third consecutive game away from home for the Aggies, who already boast two road victories over ranked opponents.
Missouri, meanwhile, remains in search of its first top-25 win. And making matters even more challenging is the absence of quarterback Beau Pribula, who is out for an undetermined period with a significant ankle injury. The Tigers will likely need to lean on their stellar defense and running game to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
